AUSTRALIA'S LARGEST ART DECO FESTIVAL CELEBRATING ALL THINGS 1910-1940!
The Australian Art Deco Festival Leeton is an established but growing festival, held annually and celebrating Leeton’s stunning Art Deco architecture and the town’s history. The festival includes an extensive program of exhibitions, markets, music, workshops and much more. The team wanted a classy yet fun website, with a golden, glamorous but also dark and edgy aesthetic, that informed visitors about the events program and how to book tickets. Improved UX (user experience) was also a big priority, with a focus on a fully responsive design available to users on mobile and tablet.

Photographer for landscape, lifestyle and travel
Leanne Hamence is a landscape, travel and lifestyle photographer who offers photographic art prints. Leanne loves creating photographic art that can help people transform their home or work spaces, including providing some guidance on interior colours and pieces to complement the photographic prints. Leanne wanted a site that was visually beautiful with a strong image presence, using large format images she had taken herself, while also being easy to comprehend and navigate. The online shop was built with WooCommerce with product, cart and checkout pages customised using her branding.

Playful Lens provides videography and photography services, as well as education in these fields. The company is passionate about identifying what’s at the heart of their clients’ stories, and creating films and images that will emotionally resonate with the client’s audiences. Fiona, the company founder, wanted a website with a neat, uncluttered layout and easy navigation, that would showcase her and her company as an established content creator and educator to inspire confidence in her potential client’s decision to work with her. The website also needed to be clear on what Playful Lens can offer potential clients and encourage them to contact her.

South East Asia's heavy lift helicopter solution
Nomad Aviation provides specialist heavy lift helicopter services for disaster relief, construction and precision placement, fire fighting and hydro-electric network construction. Their site needed a refresh as they weres keen to attract new potential clients within the SE Asian region and globally. They requested the site be modern, functional and visual with plenty of imagery of their fleet and work, have a colourful vibe (incorporating their vibrant Nomad Red brand colour), and include easy navigation and clear calls to action.
We also implemented a plugin to translate the site into Bahasa Indonesia, as a significant portion of their audience is based in Indonesia.

Nature photographer and whale watching enthusiast
This is my personal photography website, but I used the exact same process my clients do! (The site had been offline in “coming soon” mode for 15+ months – drastic action was required!) I wanted a website that would showcase my photography and direct people to subscribe to my mailing list. As well as this, pages and blog posts needed to be reformatted (so they were easier to read) and optimised for SEO.

Kathryn Chivers (the ‘Kat’ in Blind Kat Creative’) is a yoga and meditation teacher, workshop facilitator, and artist. Kathryn had a DIY Squarespace website that she wasn’t in love with. She wanted a professional website that was simple, beautiful and interesting but not cluttered, included beautiful photos to showcase her products and workshops, and a site that was user-friendly for vision impaired people. All of these requirements were taken into account when it came to designing and building a site that Kat would fall in love with and be proud to show off.

I was brought on to this project late – the home page had been prepared but the original designer was unable to continue. Designing the remainder of the site was a great opportunity to focus on customer journey and presenting information in a succinct way. Remote Recruitment & Resumes provides specialised job-seeking and recruitment services to the rural, mining and agriculture industries.

Joanna Farmer is an expert in the field of trauma-informed and lived experience evaluations. Jo had an existing website that she wasn’t happy with and wanted a new, simple website that looked approachable and professional, explained who she was and what she had to offer, and provided easy access to their library of downloadable resources. Jo’s new one-page website was done as a VIP: Website in a Day.
After she launched the site, Jo reached out on LinkedIn and said “I’m getting such positive feedback on it!” (That’s what I LOVE to hear. 🥰)

Jennilin provides personal empowerment coaching, transformational mindset coaching, and strategy consulting. Jenn hadn’t had a website for a while, so wanted to start with a one-page website that she could build on as she needed to. I knew this would be perfect for my newly released Website in a Day offer, and this was one of the first ‘official’ WIADs I worked on! Jenn wanted her website to be clean and to the point, giving just the right amount of information for people to take action (by applying for a session or connecting via email).

Premium quality - Excellent value - Exceptional service
The previous Belubula Valley Hay site had been hacked 😱 and a Google warning greeted anyone trying to visit! 😬 After attempting to clean up the issue, we soon realised it would be a better use of time and energy to redesign the site completely fresh with an updated look – so that’s what we did! We started with a clean installation of WordPress on new hosting, created a custom design, and implemented improved security. (I also got the domain reviewed by Google and removed from the ‘Deceptive Sites’ list so BVH can start welcoming people back to their site!)

Andrea booked me for a few hours to zhuzh her existing landing page in Divi so she could welcome in new clients as she relaunched her business. The result was a much cleaner and friendlier layout that works beautifully on all screen sizes. Your money made simple
APS Benefits Group is a maintenance client, so I was thrilled when they reached out to have a landing page created for a new offer they were launching! The design requirements were clear and straightforward, but they also wanted to include a function where page visitors could calculate interest. I created the calculator using Forminator Pro (a premium form plugin) which includes logic and conditional functions to make calculations. It was something new and fun for me to test!

Landing page created as part of the overall Get Out There Adventures website. The Mums and Bubs GO WILD program is a weekly guided nature walk for new mothers and their babies to get back out into nature, while staying safe and in a way that makes them feel good.

Authentic kangaroo medicine drums
Does the sound of drumming move you deeply? Kathryn handmakes medicine drums using authentic kangaroo rawhide and with the launch of her online shop, you can own one too! Kathryn’s shop was a later addition to her Blind Kat Creative website, using the WooCommerce plugin along with Elementor Pro to style and customise the shop, product, cart and checkout pages.
