Why Making waves for change exists
Your work matters. Your mission deserves infrastructure that supports it, not holds it back.
But here’s the thing: not every changemaker has thousands of dollars sitting around for a website. And that shouldn’t be the thing that stops you from reaching the people who need you most.
So twice a year, I’m giving away one fully designed, sustainable, mission-aligned website to an NFP or community organisation doing work that makes the world better.
No catch. No strings. Just good people doing good work, getting the digital foundation they need to keep going.
Because impact deserves infrastructure.

- Ongoing maintenance or support beyond the handover period
- Custom functionality outside the scope of a standard 5-page site

This offer is for grassroots NFPs, charities, and community organisations who are:
- Mission-driven and values-led (especially if your work is environmental, community-based, or social-impact-focused)
- Ready to launch or refresh your website, but don't have the budget to make it happen
- Committed to showing up for your community with clarity, accessibility, and intention
- Based in Australia (preference given to Aussie orgs, but international applications are welcome)
This isn't the right fit if:
- You need a complex, multi-functional site with custom features or integrations
- You're looking for ongoing support or a maintenance plan (those are separate services)
- Your organisation operates in industries that conflict with my values (fossil fuels, fast fasion, gambling or anything causing environmental or social harm)

Applications open twice a year

You apply
Fill in a short application telling me about your organisation, your mission, and why you need a website.
Review and selection of one recipient
I'll choose the organisation whose mission, readiness, and impact align best with this offer.
We build your site together
From strategy to launch, I'll guide you through the process - just like I would with any paying client.
You go live and make waves
Your new site goes live, and you get back to doing what you do best: changing the world.

A note on timing
I’m keeping the application schedule flexible for now so I can assess demand and make sure I’m giving each recipient the time and attention they deserve.
