How do I know if a VIP Sprint is right for me?
If your site mostly works, but something feels out of step with your mission, a VIP sprint is the sweet spot. These sessions are ideal for actioning focused tasks, strategic improvements or sustainability upgrades, without starting from scratch.
What kind of results will I see?
After each sprint, you’ll receive a report outlining what was completed, as well as any recommendations or next steps.
If we identify opportunities you can’t action yet, I’ll flag those too, so you’re clear on what to do next.
SURGE results: Your report will include full before/after metrics, so you’ll see improvements in site speed and load time, performance scores, and carbon footprint reduction.
Will this help with accessibility or compliance?
Absolutely – if accessibility or compliance updates are on your list, we can prioritise those during SPLASH. (Need guidance on where to start? Just let me know – I can walk you through the essentials.)
Note: Website accessibility is a huge and complex field. I can action some specific issues during a VIP sprint (e.g. image ALT text), however completing a full audit and optimisation specifically for accessibility can’t be done during a sprint. I outsource these requests to an accessibility expert. Contact me if you would like further information.
What kinds of tasks can I include in a SPLASH sprint?
Pretty much anything website-related: content updates, new pages, security updates and fixes, redesigning specific elements, adding or configuring new functionality, or some accessibility improvements.
How much can you get done in a day?
Honestly? A lot. I’ve been building on WordPress for nearly 20 years – I’m fast, focused and efficient. If you’re clear about what you need and get your content to me on time, I’ll get through as much as humanly possible in our time together.
Note: When you book a VIP sprint, you are booking me exclusively for a specific amount of time – 6 hours – not a set of deliverables (e.g. completing 50 tasks).
Do I need to do anything before the day?
Yes – to make the most of your sprint, you’ll need to complete the pre-VIP questionnaire (aka your client homework). It helps me understand your priorities, access your content, and prepare for your sprint.
This must be submitted at least 7 days before your sprint. That gives me time to review everything ahead of our 30-minute kick-off call (which happens 1–2 days before your sprint).
Can I book more than one sprint?
Absolutely! Many clients book follow-up sprints once they see what we can get done in a day. You can book an additional sprint whenever you’re ready – no lock-in, no pressure.
