Breach (custom website)
Getting started
✍️ Agreement + deposit: Sign the agreement and pay the deposit to reserve your spot in my schedule.
👩🏻💻 Kick-off call: We'll hold a short kick-off call and I'll give you a tour of the platforms we use during the project.
📝 Pre-work questionnaire: I send you an in-depth questionnaire that will cover website strategy and content collection - don't forget to provide all your website copy and images!
🗓️ Officially booked!: I schedule your project and am available if you have questions.
Pre-work + strategy
✅ Pre-work questionnaire: Complete and submit the pre-work questionnaire, including website copy, images and branding. I need this at least 1 week before the project start date so I have time to collate and review everything.
Note: The project won't proceed until all the website content has been received.
👩🏻💻 Strategy call: We'll hold a strategy session to determine the goals and features of your website, and answer any last minute queries.
Design
🎨 Wireframes and mockups: I design a wireframe and/or a high-quality mockup of your homepage and one sub-page for your feedback with a short video introduction.
Note: You need to provide feedback within 48 hours to meet the project deadline. Any feedback you provide is incorporated into the build phase.
Build
💻 Getting stuck in: Now I've received your feedback I can commence the site build, incorporating any feedback/changes provided in the last phase and mobile optimisation to ensure the site looks great on all screen sizes. Once the build is complete, I send you a link where you can view the site link and provide feedback and any requested changes.
Note: You need to provide feedback within 48 hours to meet the project deadline. Any feedback you provide is incorporated into the build phase.
Testing
🖥️ Full site testing: I begin full testing of the website on various devices and browsers, including double-checking the site responsiveness on different screen sizes.
☑️ Ready for sign off: I send you a checklist to confirm approval to launch the site
Note: You need to return the signed-off checklist within 48 hours to meet the project deadline.
🏁 We're almost there: We agree on a launch date, where I will take the site out of maintenance / coming soon mode and push it live. (Or if the site isn't ready to be launched and is being handed over, I'll provide all necessary files and information.)
Site handover/launch!
🚀 It's GO time!: I publish the site so it's live and provide you with a Website Owner's Manual and access to a full library suite of how-to videos, showing you how to use/edit your site.
Note: If you opt not to launch the site at this time, I will provide site handover with instructions to launch when you're ready.
🎉 Time to party!
Post-Launch
As part of the handover/launch, you receive:
🤝 Complimentary support: Post-launch support via email, for any tech-related issues that may arise during the handover period (see note below)
🛠️ Complimentary maintenance: Website maintenance to accompany your complimentary support, to ensure your site is working like a dream during the launch period
📕 Website Owner's Manual including details of your logins and other important info
🎥 Video Library: Access to a full suite of training and how-to videos you can refer to at any time - how to update content, keep the website backend updated as well as other aspects of your design and build.
Note: Post-launch support does not include any design revisions post-handover. These will be charged at my standard hourly rate, with min. 1 hour charge.
